Sedentary life is reinforced by design. My research tests small interventions that prompt movement. At the Mdina Cathedral Museum, a translucent inflatable pipe slowly deflates, nudging visitors to stand and reset it. Adaptable to everyday spaces, it reframes sitting as temporary.
artistry in
everyday objects.
At IM Studio, we craft statement furniture through timeless design, uncompromising quality, and architectural precision. Sculptural yet usable, each piece elevates interiors with lasting beauty and meaning, made to endure, inspire, and stand apart, every day.
Every piece is designed and handcrafted locally in Malta, where contemporary design sensibilities meet artisanal tradition. We approach materials with care and respect, exploring their potential to express both elegance and strength. The result is furniture that embodies bold lines and expressive forms while maintaining the refinement and practicality needed for everyday use. Each element reflects our commitment to detail, ensuring that our designs inspire both admiration and interaction.
More than objects, our collections are experiences—crafted to spark conversation, create atmosphere, and enrich the way people live with design. At IM Studio, we see furniture as both art and utility, a harmony of sculptural presence and functional purpose. Our mission is to produce work that is not only seen but felt, celebrating craftsmanship and design in pieces that will endure and impress for generations.
